An original little brooch fashioned from an upcycled vintage goldwork cross

I have added a pretty dropper with similar coloured stones which was originally a dress clip

I have kept it simple with the design

I started laying out the central motif and then went from there cutting and arranging sections to the background which is a fabulous yellow ochre felt

They form the petals to a pendant with a brown pointed cabouchon to the center. The piece lies on a backing of peacock felt and is hand edged with tiny beads. The pendant hangs from a vintage brass chain necklace.
